Abstract

In the first segment, Nicole talks Dr. Victoria Jackson, Clinical Assistant Professor of History at Arizona State University (ASU), affiliated faculty with the Global Sport Institute at ASU and former NCAA 10,000m national championship runner about the intersection of history, politics, gender and race. In the second segment Nicole talks with fellow #disruptHERS, Dr. Lough, Lebel and Pegoraro, on U.S. pro teams striking in protest of racial injustice, and how female athletes have a leading disruptive role in this movement and moment.
