The report resulted from a project undertaken with African American Action Committee that (1) collected data on current employment disparities and hiring practices by the city related to people of color and (2) collected data on the construction contracts awarded by the city to minority contractors, developers, architects, and suppliers. The project's focus was mainly on African Americans, but the employment status of other minorities was also examined.enAfrican AmericansBlacksDisparityEconomic DevelopmentEmployeesEmployersEmploymentJob EvaluationJobsMinoritiesNeighborhood Planning for Community Revitalization (NPCR)Twin CitiesJob Disparities and Economic Development OpportunitiesReport
