The City of Rosemount is actively working to minimize its contribution to climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The goal of this project was to develop a climate action plan for the City of Rosemount that identifies specific strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions throughout the community. In collaboration with city project lead Jason Lindahl, a planner for the City of Rosemount, a team of students in SUST 4004: Sustainable Communities analyzed emission trends in the City of Rosemount, studied lessons in reduction from other developing communities, and recommended locally relevant strategies for Rosemount to reduce its emissions. A final report, presentation, and poster from the project are available.ensustainabilitylocal governmentRosemountRosemount Projects, 2014-2015Rosemount Greenhouse Gas Reduction PlanPresentation
