Public Health Department officials in Carver County had identified immunizations and early childhood screenings for children of new immigrant families as a health priority for the County. One need identified to achieve this goal was developing better outreach strategies to Latino families in the area. Carver County project lead Jennifer Anderson partnered with students in PUBH 6630: Foundations of Maternal and Child Health, to develop recommendations to promote early childhood immunizations for Latino children.
