Information on the town's housing was acquired through a comprehensive windshield survey assessing the exterior conditions of the homes within approximately one square mile surrounding the Pequot Lakes downtown area; accessing town and county property records; and a survey of homeowners and renters of homes in Pequot Lakes' urban area.
