Minneapolis Neighborhood Information System2019-06-052019-06-052002https://hdl.handle.net/11299/203434Three Minneapolis neighborhoods--Longfellow, Powderhorn Park, and Whittier--took the initiative to consolidate their existing neighborhood master plans for the area along Lake Street. To support this effort, maps were created showing major development nodes, existing land uses, and zoning designations. Participating neighborhoods also collected existing planning information to overlay this data on a base map of the area. The resulting comprehensive plan was used by neighborhoods to convey development ideas to the Minneapolis City Council, mayor, Minneapolis Planning Department, residents, developers, and other stakeholders.enGeographic Information Systems (GIS)Land Use PlanningLongfellow NeighborhoodMapsMinneapolisMinneapolis Neighborhood Information System (MNIS)Neighborhood OrganizationsPowderhorn Park NeighborhoodRedevelopmentLongfellow, Powderhorn Park and Whittier Lake Street Planning Project.Report
