Subject access to this collection is provided by a companion volume titled The Farnham Peat Collection: A Subject Catalog of Peat Research Materials in the Natural Resources Library. In addition, the electronic version of the author catalog can be searched for keywords, using the "Search" feature in WordPerfect. The peat holdings in the Natural Resources Library are almost entirely the personal library of Dr. Rouse S. Farnham, professor of Soil Science at the University of Minnesota, now retired.
