In 2010, Minnesota spent approximately $1.281 billion annually on LTC through MA.1 The influx of baby-boomers needing LTC in the near future will only add to this growing budget. As part of a response to this problem, Minnesota is undertaking a public awareness campaign called Own Your Future (OYF). This report provides an update to the Minnesota Department of Human Services’ 2005 report to the Legislature, “Financing Long-Term Care for Minnesota’s Baby Boomers.” It also offers a springboard for discussion, analysis, and decision-making within the OYF leadership team as the team seeks to address the problem of financing LTC.en-USStatus of Long-Term Care Financing Products in MinnesotaThesis or Dissertation
