Each of the pavilions discuss the up and coming age of the car and how society will function with them. General Motors hired Norman Bel Geddes to design the exhibit inside the pavilion, titled "Futurama", Futurama is a projection of the year 1960 and how the cityscapes of the United States will be changed due to the invention of the automobile. The Ford pavilion offers fair-goers an opportunity to ride in cars down a ramp and then exhibit the cars inside.en-USPresentation
