Each of the pavilions discuss the up and coming age of the car and how society will function with them. General Motors hired Norman Bel Geddes to design the exhibit inside the pavilion, titled "Futurama", Futurama is a projection of the year 1960 and how the cityscapes of the United States will be changed due to the invention of the automobile.
