Freyermuth, Jacob2015-07-062015-07-062015-04-22https://hdl.handle.net/11299/172742The phenomenon of high-temperature superconductivity in the mercury-based cuprates HgBa2CuO4+δ and HgBa2CaCu2O6+δ is investigated. Additionally, the growth and characterization of samples is discussed. It is shown that the doping of HgBa2CuO4+δ samples can be controlled by annealing them under certain conditions to generate samples with different doping levels and superconducting transition temperatures.
