Rosemount Woods is a manufactured home park in the City of Rosemount that is somewhat isolated from the rest of the city. There are striking disparities between Rosemount as a whole and the community of Rosemount Woods, including income and ethnic/racial make-up of the community. The goal of this project was to identify opportunities for increased outreach and engagement with the community of Rosemount Woods. In collaboration with city project lead Alan Cox, Communications Coordinator for the City of Rosemount, a team of students in SW 8551: Advanced Community Practice: Assessment, Organizing, and Advocacy conducted interviews and door-knocking in the community of Rosemount Woods and provided recommendations for the City to communicate with residents of the community in the future. A final report from the project is available.ensustainabilitylocal governmentRosemountRosemount Projects, 2014-2015Rosemount Woods Neighborhood AssessmentReport
