Kirby Ballroom; 4:30-5:30 Open Mic, featuring UMD Students; 5:30-7:00 Moira Villiard, Sheila Packa, and Hannah ReyMoira Villiard (pronounced "Miri") is a multidisciplinary artist with a mixed Indigenous and settler heritage who uses art to uplift underrepresented narratives, explore the nuance of society's historical community intersections, and promote community healing spaces. Sheila Packa is a poet, writer, and teacher with Minnesota and Finnish roots. She has five books of poetry: Mother Tonuge, Echo & Lightning, Cloud Birds, Night Train Red Dust: Poems of the Iron Range, and Surface Displacements. Hannah Rey (she/they) is a Minnesota born and raised musician currently living in Duluth and playing venues up and down the shores of Lake Superior.
