Minneapolis Neighborhood Information System2019-06-052019-06-052002https://hdl.handle.net/11299/203437Seward Neighborhood Group, Longfellow Community Council, and, Seward Redesign launched a joint planning process for the areas around the eastern portion of future Midtown Greenway. There were three primary goals for this project: integrating divergent land uses in the area, especially residential and industrial; integrating the Midtown Greenway with current land uses, transportation systems, and amenities in the area; and integrating the Midtown Greenway as a natural corridor with parks, the river, and other natural features in the area. As an initial step in the planning process some basic maps of the area were required, including aerial photos, land use, zoning, public transportation, bicycle paths, and polluted site maps.
