Home to many natural resource areas, the City of North St. Paul was looking for recommendations on encouraging residents to engage more with those natural areas. Project lead Jon Fure worked with students in Dr. Ken Gilbertson’s EnEd 4315: Operations & Management course at the University of Minnesota Duluth campus to develop a long range management plan for Southwood Nature Preserve. The students developed a management plan, offering recommendations for mission and vision, natural features, social features, and staffing. The final report, presentation, and an aerial image are available.ensustainabilitylocal governmentNorth Saint PaulNorth St. Paul Projects, 2013-2014Southwood Nature Preserve City of North St Paul Long Range Management PlanImage
