While the physical consequences of unmet healthcare needs are well-documented, the long-term mental health effects—stemming from a lack of access to necessary care—are often neglected. This study examines how access to both physical and mental health care during childhood and adolescence influences anxiety and depression levels in college students. To explore this, I developed a survey administered to students in general psychology courses, aiming to deepen our understanding of healthcare access and its connection to mental health within the college community.en-USUniversity HonorsUniversity of Minnesota DuluthHow Access to Healthcare Impacts Depression and Anxiety in Emerging AdultsScholarly Text or Essay
