The Eastern Carver County School District Community Education Department recently hired intercultural specialists to assist with outreach to new immigrant populations in the county. Project lead and community education director Jackie Johnston collaborated with a master of public health student in the Maternal and Child Health program to conduct a formative evaluation of the intercultural specialist program.
