This project will entail creating a curriculum that Ojibwe language teacher will be able to use and is essential to the continuation of the language itself because it allows teachers to have the correct materials to teach their students the proper way to read, write, and speak the Ojibwe language. In order to accomplish this, the student researcher will need to (1) develop curriculum and instructional materials to accompany existing digital first-speaker language resources, (2) pilot these materials and lesson plans in Ojibwe language classrooms, and (3) incorporate feedback and qualitative data from pilot sessions into further development work. In the end, this project hopes to improve the teaching of the Ojibwe language as well as to increase the percentage of Natives able to speak the language.enCommunity Language in the Classroom: Collaborations for Ojibwe LanguageReport
