Ong's Thought," I first highlight relevant parts of the work of the American Jesuit Renaissance specialist and pioneering media ecology theorist Walter J. Ong (1912-2003; Ph.D. in English, Harvard University, 1955). Next, I highlight in some detail the 2018 book Religion and Faith in Africa: Confessions of an Animist (Orbis Books) by the Nigerian Jesuit theologian A. E. Orobator (born in 1967; Ph.D. in theology and religious studies, University of Leeds, 2004).
