Ordinances and plans were gathered from the six local units of government and the Department of Natural Resources, and then terms and definitions were extracted and put into a database. By creating a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet the data was easily organized and analyzed. Once all the data was input, those terms that seems most valuable to have common throughout the pilot area were separated out and made into a word document. This draft version of terms was then submitted to the representatives of the six local units of government for their suggestions and approval.enReport
