Governor Tim Pawlenty's presentation was the second in a series of policy talks hosted by the Center for the Study of Politics and Governance featuring candidates for statewide elective office. Tim Pawlenty is the Republican-endorsed candidate for Governor. Tim Pawlenty was elected to his first term as governor in 2002. Prior to that he served in the MinnesotaHouse of Representatives for 10 years, including three years as Republican Majority Leader, and as a member of the Eagan City Council.
