Franklin. 1 computer file (PDF); xi, 83 pages, appendices A-E. Ill. (some col.)This thesis discusses the characterization of a coplanar waveguide circuit with fluidic channels. The use of fluids in radio frequency circuits is highly unexplored. This work aims to provide generalized design guidelines to maximize the impact of fluids introduced into a coplanar waveguide structure. Leveraging the design guidelines presented within, a coplanar waveguide circuit is designed and fabricated. The test circuit is analyzed and the impact of the fluids on characteristic impedance is presented. Directions for future work is also discussed.en-USCoplanar Waveguide CircuitRadio frequency circuitsFluidsElectrical EngineeringCharacterization of coplanar waveguide circuits with fluidic channelsThesis or Dissertation
