Balaban, N.H., Editor2010-03-122010-03-121979https://hdl.handle.net/11299/59308The following list of materials was prepared by the Minnesota Geological Survey (MGS) for earth science teachers in Minnesota. The list is by no means definitive. It was intended initially only to determine what materials were already available at low cost, so that any we might prepare would not be on the order of "sending coals to Newcastle." MGS is a research and service arm of the School of Earth Sciences at the University of Minnesota. Its mission is to investigate the geology of the state and provide information on it to government agencies and the public. The primary program of MGS is directed toward scientific investigation of Minnesota geology, but we feel we should be more active in preparing materials for schools and the general public.enGeologyeducationalMinnesota Geological Surveyearth scienceInformation Circular 15.
