The City of North St. Paul was interested in addressing concerns around workplace culture among city staff. Project lead Jason Ziemer worked with Dr. Stacy Doepner-Hove’s HRIR 8034: Employee Development–Creating a Competitive Advantage course to create an individual development plan for the City. The students offered recommendations and strategies for personal development, professional development, and community development. This is one of five reports completed by student teams on this topic for this course.
