The three supportive housing sites in the study support individuals with mental health issues. The three sites are located in a Midwest metropolitan area. Qualitative research methods were used. The data collection instrument used was photovoice. Each participant was given a camera and asked to photograph what they liked or did not like about their housing and/or neighborhood. The researcher developed the photos and met with the participant. The participant shared their thoughts and feelings on the aspects of housing that they photographed.
