The two-day Summit brought together the perspectives of educational administrators, youth with disabilities, parents, employers, workforce development professionals, disability service providers, advocates, policymakers, researchers, and other stakeholders. Throughout the Summit, 50 teams representing 46 states, the District of Columbia, U.S. Virgin Islands, Pacific Rim entities, and the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs (herein referred to as “Leadership Teams”) met in dialogue sessions to develop or refine strategic action plans for improving outcomes for youth with disabilities.
