But in reality, Romanian women were active participants in the immigration experience. By analyzing documents that record information about Romanian immigrant women, we may begin to comprehend how women influenced family decisions, including whether to emigrate from Romania, how the families adjusted to their new lives, and whether to remain in the United States.
