Barry, John DGreen, Jeffrey A2017-03-202017-03-202014https://hdl.handle.net/11299/185244A single dye trace in Yucatan Township, Houston County, Minnesota. All of these traces were conducted to further delineate springsheds in the area, characterize sinking streams in the Cambrian St. Lawrence Formation, and characterize surfaceâgroundwater interactions in the county. Characterizing sinking streams and their connection to cold water springs is important as these springs are critical water sources for trout streams in southeastern Minnesota. Report includes result tables, due input/transit/sampling point figures and discussion about study implications. This work is the result of collaboration between a number of agencies including the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, the Fillmore County Soil Water Conservation District, the Minnesota Geological Survey, and the University of Minnesota.endyetracingtracespringkarsthydrogeologyspringshedsinkholesinking streamdisappearing streamstream sinkgroundwaterconduit flowSt. LawrenceLone RockTunnel CityCambrianpseudokarstHouston CountyPeterson SpringWhispering Hills SpringRoot RiverReport on the 2013 Dye Trace Conducted on Girl Scout Camp Creek Houston County, MNReport
