Ong's Thought," I first succinctly highlight the thought of the American Jesuit Renaissance specialist and cultural historian and pioneering media ecology theorist Walter J. Ong (1912-2003; Ph.D. in English, Harvard University, 1955). Next, I succinctly highlight John Dominic Crossan's 2022 book Render Unto Caesar: The Struggle Over Christ and Culture in the New Testament (HarperOne/ HarperCollins). Then I return to Ong's thought. I align certain notable points in Ong's thought with specific aspects of Crossan's thought in his 2022 book.en-USJohn Dominic Crossan's 2022 Book Render Unto Caesar, and Walter J.
