A well-establishedapproach for synthesizing this class of compounds is bycyclization of aminophenol derivatives. We present analternative route of synthesis of this class of compounds fromreadily available isatin derivatives through an oxidative ringexpansion and ring reduction approach. Variousoptimization studies and a range of derivatives synthesizedwill be presented.en-USPostersUniversity of Minnesota DuluthSeminarsDepartment of Chemistry and BiochemistryMaster of ScienceA Novel Synthesis of Benzoxazolone and Derivatives via a Ring Expansion/Reduction Approach (2022-03-04)Other
