The goal of this project was to create a plan to inform and engage residents in the City’s Urban Tree Canopy Plan update. City of Woodbury project lead Kristin Seaman collaborated with students in LisaBeth Barajas’ course, PA 8081: Public Participation Capstone, to develop community engagement best practices and an engagement toolbox that includes numerous practical strategies for engaging the full range of community voices, virtually and in-person, both during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. A final student report, engagement toolkit, and presentation are available. A videorecording of the students' final presentation is also available at https://vimeo.com/549461689.enlocal governmentsustainabilityResilient Communities Project, 2020-2021Public Engagement: Urban Tree Canopy UpdatePresentation
