She had access to the intellectual life at the University of Göttingen through her father, who was a professor there. She became the first woman editor of a major literary journal and wrote many novels concerning women. This project aimed to translate and analyze her early letters from 1774-1782 in order to consider her early development as a German feminist and revolutionary writer.enpre modern historygerman writerswomen writerlettersgermanWomen in the Age of Revolution: Therese Huber in LettersPresentation
