The goal of this project was to assess solutions to increase the capacity of the existing Hazardous Household Waste Facility in Scott County and provide recommendations. Scott County project lead Kate Sedlacek collaborated with students in Dr. Lisa Miller & Dr. Qie He’s ISyE Senior Design Project to conduct a facility study and develop a simulation of material processing to predict capacity in various scenarios in the future and provide tangible recommendations to the county. A final student report and poster from the project are available.enScott County Projects, 2018-2019sustainabilitylocal governmenthazardous wasteScott County Hazardous Household Waste Facility: Report on Potential ImprovementsReport
