This case is made by a surprising source - Jake Sullivan, an advisor to Secretary Hillary Clinton, who played a significant part in many of the policies that Trump has targeted. Minnesota native Jake Sullivan was deputy chief of staff to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as well as national security adviser to former Vice President Biden. Since leaving the Obama administration, he was the senior policy adviser for Secretary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and is currently a visiting lecturer at Yale Law School.
