The goal of this project was to identify economic development changes the City should consider to assist local businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic and plan for future pandemics. City of Minnetonka project lead Robert Hanson collaborated with students in Professor Greg Lindsey’s course, PA 8081: Planning and Public Affairs Capstone, to conduct a literature review of pandemic response strategies being used by local governments, analyze city and state employment data, and conduct interviews with business owners throughout Minnetonka. A final student report and presentation are available. A videorecording of the students' final presentation is also available at https://vimeo.com/549414221.enlocal governmentsustainabilityResilient Communities Project, 2020-2021Planning for Economic Development and Resilience Post COVID-19Presentation
