The traces were conducted in an active karst area located west of the Forestville State Park main unit. The October 1999 traces presented in the report were a duplicate trace that utilized automatic water samplers to collect dye breakthrough curves. Groundwater travel time from the sinkhole located in the Stewartville Formation to the spring emerging at the base of the Cummingsville Formation was determined to be 1.5 miles/day.enkarstspringspringshedsinkholedye traceMeyer’s Basin Springshed & Forlorn River Springshed dye traces 1996-1999 Fillmore County, MinnesotaReport
