She convened a Provost’s Grand Challenges Research Strategies Team, composed of 30 faculty members spanning many colleges and disciplines, to lead and steward this effort. Provost Hanson charged the committee with identifying areas in which the University was positioned to have major impact on critical societal challenges, as well as recommending strategies to realize the broader vision of a more integrative and engaged research campus.enReport
