Women with diabetes are 50 percent more likely to suffer colorectal cancer than those who do not have the metabolic disorder. That’s according to a study of 45,000 women led by University of Minnesota epidemiologist Andrew Flood. <clip: “We think that the reason that diabetes…cell division that we think could be very important.”> Although men were not included in this study, Flood says he believes that the results would be very similar.
