The City of North St. Paul was looking to encourage more residents to engage with natural areas in the City, particularly the Southwood Nature Preserve. Project lead Jon Fure partnered with students in DES 3131: User Experience in Design, taught by Ange Wang, to develop design recommendations to improve the park experience. The students interviewed potential preserve users and created designs for informational kiosks and wayfinding elements. This is one of 8 proposals completed on this topic for this course. The final report and a poster summarizing the work of all 8 groups are available.ensustainabilitylocal governmentNorth Saint PaulNorth St. Paul Projects, 2013-2014Southwood Final DeliverablesReport
