Jensen.The purpose of this research study was to examine whether patients show improvement in their level of functioning after participation in the SMDC Medical Center Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (APH). APH is an outpatient mental health treatment program located in Duluth, Minnesota and is part of the SMDC Behavioral Health Department. Partial Hospitalization can be an alternative to inpatient care for patients who are experiencing acute symptoms of mental illness or used as a transition program from inpatient care.
