Ong (1912-2003; Ph.D. in English, Harvard University, 1955). Because Pope Francis is the first Jesuit pope, it strikes me as worthwhile to call attention to these connections. But I also connect certain points that the pope makes with relevant works by other authors, including the Canadian Jesuit philosopher and theologian Bernard Lonergan and the American business consultant Olivia Fox Cabane.enPope Francis, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, Walter J.
