Discussion will center around what it means to be a Bàsàa and the presenter's creation of Reclaiming Roots, a multilingual graphic novel that resulted from becoming a consumer and producer of culture. Our Stories Carried Us Here: Developing Awareness of My Embodied Brain, presented by students in UMD Education course - Brain Developments and Relationships. This interactive talk explores brain development by illustrating our capacity to deepen our awareness.
