The goal of this project was to assess the proximity of Ramsey's "Circle of Ramsey" greenway system to residential parcels in the city with the goal of improving accessibility and mobility for residents. Ramsey project lead Mark Riverblood collaborated with a team of students enrolled in Dr. Ying Song's GEOG 5564 course to analyze accessibility using geographic information systems (GIS) analysis and create maps highlighting areas of the city that are not well served by the existing greenway system, and that would benefit from extending the greenway system. A final student report from the project is available.enRamseysustainabilitylocal governmentCity of Ramsey Projects, 2017-2018Greenway Accessibility Mapping with GISReport
