The goal of this project was to identify community-driven solutions to increase physical activity among Somali residents in the City of Savage, located in Scott County. Scott County project lead Lindsay Nelson collaborated with students in LisaBeth Barajas’ course, PA 8081: Public Engagement Capstone, to administer and analyze the results of a resident survey, develop community mapping resources, create a focus group guide, and build relationships with property managers to facilitate future engagement. A final student report and presentation are available. A videorecording of the students’ final presentation is available at https://vimeo.com/418499076.ensustainabilitylocal governmentResilient Communities Project, 2019-2020Scott County Projects, 2019-2020Strengthening Community Engagement to Move Public Health Equity Data to ActionReport
