To be recognized as a Step 3 city in the GreenStep cities program, the City of North St. Paul was looking to develop new policies around sustainability. Project lead Paul Ammerman partnered with a student in Jean Coleman’s LAW 7012: Land Use, Energy and Environment Clinic to develop policy recommendations. The student provided a definition of sustainability and drafted a sample resolution to adopt a sustainability definition.
