The Andrew Peterson Farmstead, located near the city of Waconia, is a site with great historic significance. The Carver County Historical Society (CCHS) was in the process of restoring a number of historic buildings on the Peterson Farm. The goal of this project was to help inform ongoing restoration and preservation efforts at the farmstead. In partnership with CCHS project lead Wendy Petersen-Biorn, students in ARCH 5672: Historic Building Conservation, assessed the condition of five structures on the farm and offered restoration and preservation recommendations for each of the structures.
