A great number of the Class pledged to contribute financially to the Law School in each of the next three years. In honor of the Class of 2014's efforts and significant pledges, the Office of Advancement graciously contributed $5,000 for a post-graduate fellowship for a Class of 2014 graduate to pursue public interest work. 27 YouR LAw ScHooL, FOREVER Welcome to the University of Minnesota Law School alumni community, which consists of over 12,000 living alumni all over the world. The Office of Advancement works to maintain a lifelong association with graduates by creating opportunities for you to keep in touch-with the Law School, with the greater University, and with each other. We are a resource for a variety of information and services to assist our alumni worldwide. 28 WE ARE HERE FOR YOU A few of the things we do with and for alumni ... Hold receptions both in the Twin Cities and in major metropolitan areas around the country, often hosted by fellow alumni or their firms. Alumni are even invited to some events internationally. Host the Annual Spring Alumni Weekend, featuring events and CLE's for all alumni as well as special class reunions for the 5-year milestone classes. Your first reunion will be in 2019! Hold recent graduate happy hours in the Twin Cities for alumni of the last 10 years. We also organize Emerging Professional events with the University of Minnesota Alumni Association, to allow our graduates to meet and network with University of Minnesota graduates from other schools. Provide e>Community, an online network and directory that allows you to find and connect with other alumni by practice and employment area, region, class, law school activities and other interests. Work with the Career Center and other Law School partners to offer free CLEs for alumni. Send out a monthly digest email of upcoming alumni events and volunteer opportunities.
