Abstract

This project was completed as part of a partnership with the Cities of Blaine and New Brighton through the University of Minnesota’s Resilient Communities Project (RCP, https://rcp.umn.edu/). The goal of this project was to explore available funding for manufactured home repair and replacement programs offered by state, federal, and other sources. City of Blaine project lead Elizabeth Showalter and City of New Brighton project lead Craig Schlichting collaborated with a team of students in Dr. Ryan Allen’s course PA 5261 to research and develop context-specific cost scenarios and one-year funding packages for each city, including price estimates for manufacture home repair and replacement. A final student report from the project is available.

Description

Report completed by students enrolled in PA 5261: Housing Policy, taught by Dr. Ryan Allen in spring 2024.
