Abstract

Synthetic minimal cells are the smallest, modular, controllable approximation of living cells. This project presents a complete model of transcription and translation - the entire Central Dogma of biology, modeled with single reaction kinetic resolution. As part of my Undergraduate Research Scholarship (URS) project, I worked under Prof. Kate Adamala to model these biological processes. This was done primarily through the Python programming language.
