Abstract
The purpose of this brief is to detail the changes in Total Net Worth (TNW) across Minnesota and its counties from 2021 to 2024. The TNW has been the basis for wealth measurement by the Transfer of Wealth (TOW) study team in the Extension Department of Community Development since 2023. Initial study reports for Minnesota were based on 2021 data and covered the time period 2020-2070. To shift the model to a 2025-2060 time period, the team is incorporating the latest wealth data from 2024. There are signifi cant changes in wealth over this 2021-2024 time period, and and this brief will document where and to what extent this increase is occurring across the state at the county level
