Abstract
This dataset contains cutting force signals, videos of rock cutting processes, particle size distribution from sieving analysis obtained from scratch tests conducted on Bonne Terre dolomite at different depths of cut, which cover the rock failure in ductile, fragmentation and brittle regimes. The force signals and videos can be used to study the rock failure mechanism and energy scaling in the rock cutting process.
Description
These experimental data from scratch tests on Bonne Terre dolomite consists of video files and force signal files. Both the force signals and videos files are from two rounds of scratch tests.
